    Overview
    This comprehensive hands-on program will provide the clinician with the fundamental concepts in treatment planning and restoring single-unit implant-supported restorations. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the clinical steps involved in management of the single missing tooth. The course will review the fundamentals of restoration of the single missing tooth as well as the most recent technological advancements in implant dentistry.

    The hands-on portion of this program will introduce participants to numerous prosthetic components related to restoration of the single missing tooth. Participant will fabricate a provisional single tooth implant restoration, make customized impression copings for final impressions, make a single tooth final impression using both conventional impression copings and scan bodies.

    This program is ideal for general practitioners who wish to expand their implant restoration skills.

    After this evening course, the participant will…
    – Understand single-tooth treatment planning.
    – Understand the difference between screw-retained vs. cemented restorations – when and why?
    – Be able to identify the difference between single-stage vs. two-stage surgical protocol.
    – Know the indications for immediate implant placement.
    – Understand indications for immediate temporization/immediate load.
    – Know how to identify the prosthetic components.
    – Be familiar with the step-by-step conventional and digital workflow for implant restoration.
    – Be familiar with digital dentistry work flow.
    – Be familiar with digital impressions.
