    Highlights
    This course is comprised of hands-on sessions, live surgery, interactive lectures and theoretical sessions. Lectures will cover the following topics: the digital treatment planning phase for perio/implant/prosthetic rehabilitations, principles, protocols and materials utilized to achieve functional and esthetic outcomes, management of hard and soft tissues, the philosophy supporting the design and fabrication of a provisional restoration, and techniques for communicating with patients and members of the team. Digital Smile Design (DSD by Christian Coachman) will be introduced as a critical tool to diagnose, treatment plan and communicate in different phases of the treatment. Hands-on sessions will cover the fabrication process of a provisional restoration on a single-tooth implant with a customized emergence profile.

    This course is aimed at clinicians competent in foundational oral surgery who wish to extend their expertise to placing dental implants.

    – Understand key aspects of diagnostics and treatment planning in dental implant dentistry, including digital treatment planning
    – Have adequate knowledge of surgical and prosthetic phases for implant-based restorations
