This course is designed to provide dentists with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide surgical implant therapy in their office. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive knowledge of both the scientific theory and practical procedures for incisions, flap management, closures, and controlling the surgical environment. Equipment, materials and techniques used for these purposes will be discussed. The other main focus of the course is for doctors to become knowledgeable and proficient in the placement of root form implants which will allow the participants to treat the majority of simple cases without additional training. Adherence to surgical sterility and asepsis protocols will be taught to attending doctors.

Bradley A. Ross was born and raised in Miami, Fl. Growing up in a dental family, Dr. Ross was groomed to follow in the footsteps of his father (Dr. Scott Ross). Exposed early in life to periodontics and implant dentistry, a strong foundation of the field was instilled in him. This has allowed him to gain knowledge and an understanding that continually grows with experience and education. Dr. Bradley Ross earned his Bachelor of Science from Emory University. He then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, achieving his DMD degree in 2007. He then focused his training in the specialty of Periodontics at NOVA Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bradley Ross then achieved the status of a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology, identifying him as a Board Certified Periodontist. He is an active member of numerous dental societies, including The American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Osseointegration, the International Team for Implantology, Florida Academy of Periodontology, and the Florida Dental Association. He runs several local study clubs in the Miami area. Dr. Bradley Ross regularly lectures on periodontics, implant dentistry, and periodontal plastic surgery. Bradley enjoys spending his time away from work with his wife, Kristina, and his dogs, Winston and Stella. Together, Brad and Kristina love to travel and experience the many cultures of the world.
