  • Course overview

    This course is comprised of hands-on cadaver sessions, hands-on models and interactive lectures. Lectures will cover the following topics: bone augmentation procedures at implant sites and their indications, diagnostics and treatment planning for each treatment option, the surgical steps involved and management of complications. The following procedures will be covered in detail: harvesting autogenous bone, immediate implant placement, guided bone regeneration with simultaneous implant placement, trans-crestal sinus lift and lateral sinus lift.
    This course is aimed at clinicians who are competent in the placement of dental implants and want to extend their expertise to advanced augmentation procedures at implant sites.
