Implant dental nursing one day foundation course

  • Course overview

    An introduction to implantolgy for dental assistants with no or minimal experience, to gain knowledge from both clinical and patients perspective. Understand the importance of your role not only during procedures but in on-going patient communication. This 1 day course will consist of hands on training for implant placement including draping procedures. On completion of the course the delegates should have had an overview and be familiar with the most commonly used Nobel Biocare systems and accompanying products.

    • To introduce the principles of modern Dental Implantology
    • To develop an appreciation of the use of Dental Implants in the restoration of missing teeth
    • To achieve an understanding of the role of the whole dental team in the delivery of implant care and the use of secondary services
    • To introduce the techniques used in Dental Implantology
